I really enjoyed reading your helpful hints. I am not a "senior" quite yet, but don't want to be on Facebook with my kids! I think this will be a great site when people catch on. I love the picture of you skydiving. My dream is para-sailing(not sure if that's the term or the spelling) off of a boat.
Now that the kids are gone, I actually enjoy cooking! Now I can cook with onions and other ingredients the kids hated.
Don't know if this will reach anyone. I have been trying to sort out this and various similar sites. I too have left the kitchen. At least at times. I used to love cooking and baking, but don't seem to be as inspired the past few years. My granddaughter belongs to a dance studio in your area, although we live south of you. I wondered if this were a new site as I can't seem to find various groups. I belonged to SeniorNet a few years ago, but don't know what happened to them.
Great idea about a blog for those of us over 70 and 80 (I actually will turn 70 next month) - I hope you will take the appropiate action right here on S.E. Get it started I'll bet there will be others ready to jump on board. - Your forum on air conditioning got some action .. what do think about bottled water??
